Tier1Suite

The free Windows optimization suite for competitive gamers. Lower input lag, smoother frame pacing, and one-click stretched resolution — plus an Advisor that scans your PC and tells you exactly what’s worth changing, and why.

v1.0.3 · Windows 10/11 (64-bit) · Signed installer · No account, no trial, no card

  • Free forever — not a trial
  • Anti-cheat safe — no injection, no kernel driver
  • One-click revert on every change

Optimizing a gaming PC, without the guesswork

Most PC optimization advice is a pile of forum posts, .bat files from strangers, and registry edits nobody can undo. Tier1Suite is the same set of changes done properly: every tweak shows what it changes, its risk level, and a one-click revert, and a system restore point is taken before anything is applied. Nothing is hidden behind a "boost" button.

Impact is measured on your own hardware, not promised in advance. The built-in benchmark compares before and after, and where a figure genuinely can't be measured yet the app says "not measured" instead of inventing one. It's built by the team behind the Tier1Settings optimization guides — the same advice, in an app that does it for you.

What’s inside

Five tools in one installer. The first four are the ones you use; the Advisor tells you which of them to bother with.

  • Tier1Timer Free

Windows ticks at 15.6 ms by default, so a game's Sleep(1) can overshoot by 15 ms. Tier1Timer holds the timer at 0.5 ms for lower input lag and steadier frame pacing, and Auto Mode applies it per game and restores it on exit — even if the game crashes.

  • Tier1Stretch Free

Stretched resolution in one click — bigger models, no black bars. It creates the custom resolution and sets full-panel GPU scaling for you on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, with no CRU, no Control Panel and no reboot, and a 15-second countdown that puts your display back if it looks wrong.

  • Tier1Tune 20 of 33 free

A 33-entry catalog of Windows, latency, network and storage tweaks — power plan, core parking, HAGS, VBS, MPO, DNS and more. Each entry states what it changes, its risk level and a one-click revert, and links the guide explaining it. Every read-only system check (XMP/EXPO, Resizable BAR, TPM, storage type, driver version) is free.

  • Tier1Monitor Pro

Proof that a change did something: a latency benchmark for before/after comparisons plus a continuous scheduling-latency monitor. It's read-only and in-app — deliberately no in-game overlay — and where a figure genuinely can't be measured yet (true kernel DPC/ISR latency, per-game frame time) it reports "not measured" rather than guessing.

  • Advisor Scan is free

Start here. It reads your actual system state — timer resolution, DPC latency, power plan, VBS, XMP/EXPO, storage type, driver version, HAGS, refresh rate — and ranks what's worth changing on your machine, with a plain-language reason for each and one-click apply. The scan is always free and always checks the full catalog; Free shows the top recommendation, Pro shows the whole ranked list.

Free is the whole app, not a trial

Download it, use it, keep it — there is no trial clock, no nag screen and no account. Free gets you timer resolution and stretched resolution in full (nothing held back), 20 of the 33 catalog tweaks including every read-only system check, restore points and revert-all, and the Advisor's top recommendation. Pro is an optional one-time upgrade if you want the rest of the catalog and the measurement tools.

Questions

Is Tier1Suite free?

Yes. The download is free and stays free — no trial period, no time limit, no account, and no card required. Free includes timer resolution with per-game Auto Mode, one-click stretched and custom resolution, 20 of the 33 tweaks in the catalog, system restore points and revert-all, and the Advisor's top recommendation. There is one optional upgrade, Tier1Suite Pro, which is a $4.99 one-time purchase — not a subscription — and the free version keeps working whether or not you ever buy it.

Is it safe to use with anti-cheat?

Yes. Tier1Suite uses no code injection, no process hooking, and installs no kernel driver — it never touches a running game. Every change is made through documented Windows APIs (registry values, power-plan settings, display/EDID and GPU driver calls), which is the same class of change as adjusting Windows Settings or your GPU control panel yourself.

Can I undo the changes if something goes wrong?

Yes, and that is built into every entry rather than bolted on. Each tweak shows exactly what it changes and its risk level before you apply it, and has a working one-click revert. Tier1Suite takes a system restore point before applying changes, there is a revert-all button for everything at once, and stretched resolution has a 15-second "keep these settings?" countdown that puts your display back automatically if the screen goes wrong.

Will it actually improve my FPS?

Honestly: it mostly improves input latency and frame pacing rather than raw average FPS — smoother 1% lows and inputs that register faster, not a bigger number in the corner. That is why the app measures on your machine instead of promising in advance: the built-in latency benchmark lets you compare before and after, and where a figure genuinely cannot be measured yet the app says "not measured" instead of inventing one.

Does it work on AMD and Intel GPUs?

Yes. Stretched and custom resolution with full-panel GPU scaling works on NVIDIA, AMD and Intel. Timer resolution, the tweak catalog, the latency monitor and the Advisor are GPU-agnostic and work on any supported machine. The one known gap is custom-resolution creation on some hybrid laptops where the integrated GPU owns the panel.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Tier1Suite installs via a signed MSI and is fully self-contained — there is no separate .NET runtime or other prerequisite to install. The app launches without admin rights, so browsing the catalog and every read-only system check run with no UAC prompt at all; applying a tweak that needs elevation asks for it only at that moment.

What does Pro add, and how many PCs does it cover?

Pro unlocks the remaining 13 tweaks in the catalog (power plan, core parking, C-states, HAGS, MPO, VBS/memory integrity and more), unlimited per-game profiles with auto-switching, the full ranked Advisor report, and Tier1Monitor's latency benchmark and scheduling-latency monitor. It is a $4.99 one-time purchase covering 3 PCs, with future updates included and no subscription. If it isn't for you, there's a full refund within 14 days.

I already use Tier1Timer or Tier1Stretch on their own — what should I do?

Install Tier1Suite: it contains both of them in full, free, and is where all new work now goes. You do not have to uninstall the standalone versions first — they can sit alongside the suite — but there is no reason to keep both. If you bought Tier1Stretch Pro, that licence key activates Tier1Suite Pro at no extra cost; you will never be asked to pay twice for the same features.

Set it up once. Play.

Tier1Suite installs in a couple of minutes, scans your PC, and tells you what’s worth changing. Free — no account, no trial.
